Hi Em! I am so sorry to hear about your gammy leg and the associated pain from the flying signboard! What an experience! I am glad that you are finally on the mend and what a great way to test drive your leg at the Pudsey show! I'm with you in thinking that the teeny tiny matchbox is Incredible as is the corkscrew! How lovely to see the tea cozies and the ducks in the old pram! Very clever idea, that! How much fun you will have playing with all the wonderful item that you brought home with you. I look forward to seeing them installed and made even more special in your Chocolat!!!
Chocolat is, of course, finished - except that it isn't if you know what I mean. It is finished until I see something I want to squeeze in. I am doing a ton of head scratching about adding surface wiring or at least the conduits it went it. Watch this space. Thanks for taking time to write as always.
I've just been reading through the whole build of Chocolat. What a great project it's been and I do like the green you've used on the outside. The fun and time put in (and head scratching) trying to find all the relevant pieces in relation to the film only add to the pleasure in creating this and it shows. The details are fab and I'm really impressed with the back of the property - so neat. I must investigate that lighting system. I've seen it but not looked at it in depth. It's so much nicer than having all that spaghetti hanging down the back.
The glass of champagne at your "topping out" ceremony was well deserved.
I'm pleased to hear you had such a good time at the fair and yes, I'd be impressed with the opening matchbox too! I can also relate to having an "underwhelmed hubby"!
You are a glutton for punishment trawling through that lot! Thank you so much for your lovely comments; it is especially appreciated as you create such beautiful things. To be fair, Poor Ken, as he is known is a gem at tolerating my mini passion and drives me hither and yon on both sides of the pond and hangs around for hours while I scrutinise a ton of stuff, but he just 'doesn't get it'. Fair enough - I'm not that fussed about skiing, diving and Formula 1..... Marilyn
One of life's really clever ladies..... Ms McGregor! Hope to have a little play around with Chocolat tomorrow. Thanks for dropping by..... How's the writing going? Marilyn

That matchbox is incredible! You picked up some lovely, new things at Pudsy (I love that name!) and I look forward to seeing them in their new homes.
